About Us — A Word From the President

It is my honor to serve as the 2007-2008 President of the Southlake Chapter of the American Business Women's Association (ABWA).

As we begin the new chapter year, I invite you as business women to make the commitment to invest in yourself by becoming an active member of the Southlake Chapter.

During ABWA’s Decade of Discovery, we as members will discover new and exciting ways to grow personally and professionally. This program year marks the 8th year in that journey and is represented by the theme:

E3 — Engage! Experience! Excel!
in the American Business Women’s Association

As President, I look forward to implementing the R3 Initiative — Recruit, Retention, and Recognition. We will seize the moment and make our presence known in the Clayton County community as we enthusiastically Engage, Experience and Excel in growing the Southlake Chapter.

Now is the time to embrace and act upon our mission of bringing together business women of diverse occupations and providing opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support and national/ local recognition.
